How is Parameter 5 Output Select handled in Cherry Chroma?

Post by timg11 »

Related to previous post from @nuSoniq, how is Parameter 5 Output Select handled in Cherry Chroma?

I made a "pseudo-stereo" modification to my voice cards. For the algorithms where AMP A and AMP B are summed (1, 2, 3, 13, 14, 15) I swapped output bus 1 and 2, so AMP A went to Out 1, and AMP B went to Out 2.

Because of this many of my patches are stored with Output Select set to 1. My physical Chroma connection has the main output to a center panned channel, and Output 1 and 2 to a stereo channel.

I'm finding some of my legacy patches are not making any sound in Cherry Chroma. I went to verify the Output Select parameter, and don't find it anywhere. I searched through the manual, and did not find it mentioned. How are patches with Output Select set to non-zero values handled in Cherry Chroma?

The Output Select is not supported in Cherry Chroma. That doesn't answer the question of how non channel 0 saved values are handled though.

Seems like the desired behavior should be all non zero values from imported files should be reset to 0.
