Hello everyone
I have been using Blue 3 since February of last year (2023) with my Yamaha PSR-S 670 keyboard in split mode and Roland PK5 pedalboard, a Chuwi tablet PC, a Quad 405 amplifier and a pair of Mordaunt-Short speakers. All this works very well with no latency. Easily the best Hammond organ software I have tried. However, I use the standalone version as I have no interest in using a DAW and my only gripe with this otherwise excellent sounding software is the UI. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble creating a beautiful replica of a B3 console, but in use, with a touch screen, it's just not practical. With any real organ, you can change registrations while playing, quite impossible here. Once the midi settings are sorted out, the virtual keyboards (manuals) serve no purpose and could be replaced by a row of suitably sized programmable preset buttons. (The Chuwi has a touch screen) The only thing I can usefully operate while playing is the Leslie fast/slow, with one of the wheels to the left of the keyboard. I don't doubt this would require a complete re-working of the UI, but the result would be a much more playable organ.
